Zanzibar Healthfulness Retreat

Join us during the Festive Holidays on 7th-14th December 2022

Start your day with a revitalising yoga practice and build yourself with inspiring workshops, classes and trips. Eat the freshest locally grown produce from the village and taste the catch of the day from the fisherman who have just pulled up to shore. Or opt for a quiet time journaling, painting or skinny dipping in the sea, on the beach outside our gorgeous private villa.

The Island of Zanzibar

Also known as Spice Island

Zanzibar is located in the Indian Ocean, about 25 miles from the Tanzanian coast.

Zanzibar Island (known locally as Unguja, but as Zanzibar internationally) is 60 miles long and 20 miles wide, It is characterized by beautiful sandy beaches with fringing coral reefs, and the magic of historic Stone Town—said to be the only functioning ancient town in East Africa.

The Assyrians, Sumerians, Egyptians, Phoenicians, Indians, Chinese, Persians, Portuguese, Omani Arabs, Dutch and English

have all been here at one time or another, primarily trading ivory and spices. The culture on the Island is rich and mixed with influences from Asia & Europe, which gives this Island a unique African heritage. Today, Zanzibar is best known for its exquisite seafood, paradisal beaches and abundant aromatic landscapes, giving her the nickname The Spice Island.

I must say the Retreat was a wonderful experience for me, the venue was superb, the food absolutely delicious and the people so kind and helpful. I would definitely like to join another retreat next year, perhaps somewhere different. Please, will you advise what you have planned? Thank you for the goodie bag, I am using the yoga belt all the time, all the items were so useful and pretty.

Thanks to you I had the best time of my life in Zanzibar. It was such a pleasure to spend such meaningful time with you and everyone else that touches my life during those gloriously wonderful days. The experience was awesome! Thanks again for all the caring and love you gave and I’m looking forward to many more wonderful trips. P.S. the trip home was tolerable, considering I didn’t want to leave.

I want to thank you again from the bottom of my heart for the incredible experience you provided in Zanzibar. I benefited from such peace and healing. Thank you for all the idyllic moments: the painting on the beach, the cooking class, the chats, emotional sharing, Prison Island and of course all that glorious food!
