St. Lucia Healthfulness Retreat
Past Retreat: 28th February–7th March 2018
St. Lucia retreats are always dear to my heart due to my family ties and connection I have to Soufriere in particular. Just gazing at the majestic Pitons each day instantly energizes me. Those two mountains have strong vibes. This group bonded very quickly, by day two we were family. Opening up to each other in ways that we don’t to our closest everyday circles. We had each other's back for the rest of the week.
I remember for the cooking class, the chef ordered two large crabs for the Calalloo & crab broth the next day. Someone placed them in a bucket overnight and covered the bucket with two pieces of wood. The next day I went get them and they had escaped! We were all totally baffled. Luckily the chef had some extra prepared stuffed shells for the dish.
Another special memory was, after the wrap dinner at Ladera restaurant, we decided to go for a sulfur springs bath. The last night we sat in a pool of warm muddy water under the low stars. It was divine.
